I love this picture of me and my Mom when I was little. We have always been close since I was young. No matter what was going on in my life she has been there with love, support and advice when ever I needed it. During happy times she was there to share in my joy. When I had troubles and failings she helped me get through them and when others let me down she was always there. I love this quote by Washington Irving on this Mother's Day, which is exactly how I feel about my Mom.
A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. ~Washington Irving
