two boys

Adorable little bedroom for these two brothers Levi and Fletcher. Love their little names above the beds. Brittany and I have a feeling that when she has her next baby it will be a boy, so I love it when I see boy ideas. Which reminds me of my nephews Richie and Kevin. They were so cute and super close to each other when they were young. When I would visit them the minute I walked in the door it was none stop fun just watching them play together. They were a complete crack up! Actually come to think of it they still are cute, funny and the best of friends now that they are all grown up!

noah and briley

Noah and Briley are only a few months apart and just melt my heart! Their mommies {my daughter Brittany and Melissa} went to Nursing school together and became good friends while pregnant and studying like mad.
Now their babies are good friends and have lots of fun together too! No studying yet, just eating and playing.
and then after all the fun is over a sweet kiss goodbye until next time.......

"ready for take off" party

This cute little airplane party from Amy Atlas made me think of Noah. He loves airplanes {his Daddy is a pilot} and stops whatever he is doing when we are outside and hears one in the sky. He shows me how they fly with his hands and goes swoosh-swoosh until the plane is gone. He would love everything about this party. My favorite idea, the runway down the middle of the table. So creative!

jimmy's salad dressing

This salad dressings has been in our family for many, many years. It is probably the favorite recipe of everyone in the family and addictive to anyone that comes into contact with it. My mother named it after my brother, because if we didn't pay attention and grab our helping fast Jimmy would have eaten almost the whole salad before we got a chance to get a helping! The other great thing about it is the ingredients are pantry staples you most likely have on hand.

1/2 cup Best Foods whole mayonnaise
1 garlic clove pressed
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice

1 head romaine lettuce, washed, spun-dry and cut up
toss well as dressing is thick
2 sliced hard boiled eggs and crisp bacon for topping {you can skip this part if you don't have it on hand or you are making it in a hurry, it is still delicious}
