I love this easy cupcake idea from Martha Stewart for 4th of July. I can use the delicious chocolate cupcake recipe with mascarpone frosting and just add the simple decorations. She used red licorice and a little bit of blue buttercream piped on to decorate the top. This is a perfect recipe to use with kids as it is simple to do. I can't wait until Noah is a few years older and we can make these together!
